The Cochabamba Project Social Investment

The Cochabamba Project is an Industrial and Provident Society for the benefit of the community. They provide the finance for an internationally acclaimed reforestation programme on the fringes of the Bolivian Amazon, in exchange for a share of the revenues from the forestry enterprise.

The promotion of shares in an Industrial & Provident Society for the benefit of the community is exempt from the provisions of the Financial Promotions Act.

Shareholders in the Society are awarded interest every year and may withdraw their capital and interest after three years subject to six months notice.

Interest is forecast to be in the region of seven per cent but cannot by law exceed ten per cent.

For further information on The Cochabamba Project social investment visit the Cochabamba Project website.
