What
are they?
A second hand endowment policy, sometimes known as a traded
endowment policy, is one which an investor purchases from
the original person or persons who took out the policy some

all the benefits, including the death benefit belong to him
or her legally. The new owner becomes responsible for paying
all the premiums as they fall due until maturity. The new owners
legal entitlement to all the benefits is recorded by the relevant
