HSBC InvestDirect you can invest in the following shares and
securities:
- Most
UK and Irish shares listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Including the Alternative Investment Market (AIM)
- Some
UK exchange traded funds
- Investment
trusts
Any
shares that do not trade in Sterling can be dealt in their
underlying currency. HSBC convert this value into Sterling.
You
may place orders outside of normal market trading hours but
these will be processed as soon as practicable after the next
market open.
You
can set price limits that allow you to maintain control over
the price at which you deal. Limits are valid until the market
closes on the day they are placed.
Use
the HSBC alerts service to have information on prices, volume
and news sent to an email address of your choice.
Purchased
shares can be sold immediately after execution.
The
London Stock Exchange is open from 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to
Friday. Excluding UK National holidays.
