GAM
Offshore Funds and Investment
GAM Offshore Funds and Investment
GAM
has three business areas; Portfolio Management, Mutual Funds
and Institutional. A brief Review of each area is given
below.
Portfolio
Management
GAM believes that the interests of private clients (or high
net worth individuals) are best served through investing in
funds, rather than holding portfolios of individual stocks.
This allows client relationship managers full flexibility
in their asset allocation, while at the same time permitting
fund managers to concentrate solely on the management of their
funds, free from marketing and client responsibilities.
Mutual
Funds
GAM provides an extensive range of funds tailored to meet
the requirements of a global client base, with funds authorised
in various jurisdictions and denominated in a range of currencies.
Institutional
GAM Institutional is responsible for GAM's institutional clients,
such as pension funds, charities and similar institutional
investors. GAM staff dedicated to working with institutional
clients are located in GAM's offices around the world.
The
division provides a wide range of active investment management
strategies for its clients, from broadly diversified portfolios
to more specialised regional investment mandates.
