Investment Management Association (the IMA) is the UK trade
body for the professional investment management industry.
Nearly
everyone who has a private or occupational pension scheme,
a life assurance policy, PEP or Stocks and Shares ISA, relies
on their members’ skill for their future prosperity.
The member companies of the IMA include independent fund managers,
the investment arms of banks, life insurers and investment
banks, and the managers of occupational pension schemes. Together
they look after some £2,000 billion in assets.
