What
the SAGA Fund Supermarket service offers
The
Saga Fund Supermarket enables you to buy, sell and keep track
of fund based investments such as unit trusts and open-ended
investment companies (OEICs) conveniently, and at low cost.
You can transfer your existing fund based investments into
the service, use the service to open new individual savings
accounts (ISAs), and purchase new fund investments.
The
new service, provided for Saga customers by Cofunds Limited,
offers you access to over 560 investment funds from more than
40 fund management companies, all under one simple umbrella.
One
place for your investments
The service allows you to make new investments inside or outside
an ISA tax shelter, and transfer into the service ISAs and
PEPs (Personal Equity Plans) that you have previously taken
out. You can also transfer across other fund based investments
you have previously purchased.
Easy
to keep track of investment performance
You can keep track of all your fund investments through one
valuation statement, sent half yearly. Furthermore, you will
also be able to view your up-to-date valuation at any time,
using this website.
Low
Cost
Using the service doesn't mean you pay more to invest. In
many cases you will pay less than you would if investing direct
with a fund management company.
Easy
to switch funds
It is straightforward to switch money from one fund, or fund
manager, to another. In this way you can develop your fund
portfolio over time to meet your own investment objectives.

560 funds to choose from
Select and mix funds from a choice of over 560 funds from
more than 40 different fund managers, all available through
one source.
Easy
to open a new ISA
You can protect your investments from tax within the shelter
of an ISA, up to the maximum limits*. Unlike a traditional
ISA, you are not limited to investing with a single fund manager
in each tax year. With the Saga Fund Supermarket, you can
spread your investment between several fund managers if you
wish. You can even temporarily shelter cash within an ISA,
in a cash reserve account, while you decide in which fund(s)
you wish to invest.
