Direct Line Fund and Equity ISA's
Direct
Line have a choice of two funds you can invest in, the Direct
Line FT-SE 100 Tracker Fund or the Direct Line FT-SE4Good
Tracker Fund. Unless you choose otherwise the Direct Line
FTSE 100 Tracker Fund will be the default Fund.
The
objective of the Direct Line FT-SE 100 Tracker Fund is to
achieve long term capital growth by tracking as closely as
possible the performance of the FT-SE 100 Index. The FT-SE
100 Index is made up of the largest 100 UK listed companies
by market capitalisation.
The
objective of the Direct Line FTSE4Good Tracker Fund is also
to achieve long term capital growth by tracking as closely
as possible the performance of the FTSE4Good Index. The FTSE4Good
Index is an index for socially responsible investment, the
selection criteria for the index cover 3 areas:
- Working
towards environmental sustainability.
- Developing
positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Upholding
and supporting universal human rights.
