How
do Seymour Sinclair Investments discounts or investment enhancements
work?
If
you invest into a Unit Trust, Personal Equity Plan, new Investment
Trusts, Insurance Bond or most other types of investments,
you will usually pay investment charges. These are either
deducted initially, in the form of a 'buy and sell' (bid to
offer) spread or annually through the unit price, quite often
both. Calculated within these charges is a commission payable.
In all cases this commission can be paid to a registered financial
intermediary or agent if their details are supplied on an
application. If no agents details are supplied, the commission
is retained by the product provider. This is money that is
lost to you if you make a direct investment with the company
of your choice.
It
would be logical to think that you would benefit by investing
direct with your chosen company as there would be no middleman
involved and therefore no commission payable. However, this
is not the case as the amount of charges are the same, regardless
of whether there is an agent involved. In fact, you will actually
be financially 'better off' directing your business through
Seymour Sinclair Investments, as they can make either a cash-back
payment from the commission allocated or use it to help reduce
any investment charges.
This
offer applies to both monthly and single payments and Seymour
Sinclair Investments have no minimum investment.
Seymour
Sinclair Investments do not charge you fees for their services
as they are remunerated by the company with whom you make
your investment by way of a commission. This is paid to Seymour
Sinclair Investments either initially, or annually by what
is know as 'trail commission'. This money is paid to them
from the normal charges taken from your investment and not
as an additional charge and as such, does not effect your
investment.
