FXP
(Foreign Exchange Protocol)
FXP (FXProtocol) is a simple automatic way of retrieving currency
rates over the Internet. FXP utilizes a request-send model
similar to HTTP. It allows users to capture raw
data from OANDA servers for inclusion into the clients FX
applications. Users can receive single conversion or time
series data for rates back to 1990 on 164 FX instruments.
FXP
is ideal for e-commerce sites to localize prices on products
and services in on-line catalogues automatically and on-the-fly.
Companies may also use FXP for back-office applications, such
as accounting, expense management, procurement, invoicing,
etc.
