National Convenient ordering
If you order your travel money using the Abbey National telephone
banking service before 3pm Monday to Thursday you can collect
it from the branch of your choice after 2pm on the next working
day. Orders placed on Friday will be available on Monday (excluding
bank holidays) and orders placed between 3pm Friday and 3pm
Monday will be available for collection on Tuesday.
You
can also order your travel money in Abbey National branches
using the in-branch telephone.
Guaranteed
rates
You will be given a guaranteed exchange rate on the day you
order your travel money and will be told the total cost of
your travel money order.

Abbey National supply American Express traveller's cheques
in a range of popular currencies. The cheques are globally

National Value for money
If you have an Abbey National account that accepts deposits
they will buy back any unused currency (notes only) and foreign
currency traveller's cheques and credit their sterling value
to your account subject to a charge of only £2. Sterling
traveller's cheques will be credited back free of charge.
Travel
money orders are available for collection after 4pm in their
Galasheils and Stranraer branches. In their Peterhead, Inverness
and Kirkwall branches collection is after 48 hours.
