developing their business in Japan through Nomura Principal

Advisory, and overseas through the Private Equity Group (PEG)

misunderstood or challenging businesses where Nomura aim to
generate corporate value by using their investment experience
and know-how. Investments range from management buyouts (MBOs)
to corporate reorganizations based on the strategic needs
of their customers.
Private
Equity Business
The Private Equity Group is the venture capital arm of Nomura.
They actively invest Nomura's own funds in companies with
future growth prospects in IT and biotechnology related sectors.
Capitalizing on their relationships with global investors
and advisors, their investment strategy is aimed at maximizing
returns by adding value to the companies in which they invest.
PEG
will continue to build on its proven track record and wealth
