ARBUTHNOT LATHAM ACCOUNTS FOR BUSINESSES & CHARITIES

Current Accounts
Arbuthnot Latham current accounts for business clients offer cheque books, the option of full narrative statements and pay interest depending on the size of the balance held.

Call, Notice and Fixed Term Deposits
Deposit accounts are offered in sterling and all major currencies, at competitive rates of interest.

Foreign Currency Accounts
Available in all major currencies. Cheque books are available on US dollar accounts.

Overdraft and Loan Facilities
Overdrafts and loans typically range between £50,000 and £2,000,000 and are usually offered on a secured basis for periods of up to five years. Larger facilities and equity financing are arranged jointly with other institutions.

Electronic Banking
Arbuthnot Latham electronic banking system enables clients to use their own PCs for secure monitoring of account balances and standing order details, cheque book ordering and automatic payment initiation via the BACS system.

The Treasury Account
Offers professional firms the convenience of controlling multiple client balances through a single account with up to 1,200 separately designated client sub-accounts operated from one cheque book and one paying-in book. Interest is paid monthly at attractive rates tiered to the level of individual balances. Narrative statements are provided for each account.

The Managing Agents Client Account
Arbuthnot Latham Managing Agents Client Account (MACA) is designed to reduce the workload of managing agents, residential letting agents and other property specialists. The account helps to manage multiple balances. A single MACA can operate up to 1,200 separately designated sub-accounts. This development reflects their philosophy of combining the traditional banking values with modern technology. A fully automated system delivers the product whilst your Relationship Manager provides the service.

The Custodian Account For Charities
The Custodian Account is designed specifically for the banking needs of non-profit making organisations such as charities, clubs and societies. This account has been designed so that it can be used as your main banking facility. Unlike the postal accounts offered by other financial institutions, you have no need for a second bank account for your day to day transactions. All cleared funds on your cheque account earn interest so you do not need to switch funds between various accounts to maximise your income as you may be required to do currently.

  • The Arbuthnot Latham Custodian Account can be used as your only banking facility. As a high-interest cheque account, you have no need for a second bank account for your day-to-day transactions.
  • Arbuthnot Latham's high rates of interest mean you only need this one account to optimise your returns.
  • A full branch banking facility is available nationwide, allowing you to pay into or withdraw money from a local clearing bank branch. Alternatively you can pay in over their own counter or by Freepost, whichever is most convenient for you.
  • A cheque book gives you instant access to your funds. No waiting for withdrawals.
  • Direct debits and standing orders.
  • All payments in to the account are free of charge.
  • Cleared balances earn a competitive rate of interest, which is credited to the account monthly.
  • No charge on up to 20 cheques per month provided you hold an average minimum balance of £10,000, with a competitive tariff thereafter. These charges may be negotiable.
  • Full narrative statements.
  • Access to your account information is available to you 24 hours a day through their electronic banking facility, Bank-Link.
